Charting Our Future is an annual conference put together by the Foundation For Tacoma Students. It brings together education leaders, advocates, and allies to create meaningful change and work towards a brighter future. 2023's installment used the title and theme "Empowering Equitable Futures," and its organizers wanted to develop a look that would be more exciting and engaging than the typical non-profit conference. Using unexpectedly bold colors and typography, I set out to create a quasi-futuristic, hopeful tone that would invite attendees to imagine future possibilities beyond their current expectations.
