To help Brooks bolster their digital presence, Digital Kitchen created a series of social campaigns that utilized both digital content and real-world experiences to engage their community. Brooks uses the mantra “Run Happy” to describe the emotional core of the running experience — this spirit of joy and enthusiasm formed the basis of everything we produced for them.

National Running Day Campaign

To celebrate National Running Day, I created these illustrations based on the concept of rituals to ring in the holiday. They were posted across Brooks’ social channels, where we invited Brooks’ community members to share their own running rituals.

#RunDesiRun

To rally behind Brooks brand ambassador Desi Linden, we sourced virtual cheers through the hashtag #RunDesiRun. The overwhelming outpour of social support was transformed into an original illustration that was presented to Desi prior to the marathon.

SXSW: The Run Happy Tour

Brooks brought the Run Happy spirit to SXSW through The Run Happy Tour, a DJ-led morning run. Blasting beats from a pedicab, a live DJ provided the soundtrack as runners made their way through the streets of Austin. Final deliverables included digital content used across Brooks’ social channels, as well graphics for the pedicab and shirts given to participants at the event.
